Project Manager – Software Development

About the role

DHL IT Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead software development initiatives that support the end‑to‑end operations of the world’s largest logistics company. You will act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring digital solutions are delivered on time, within scope and with measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets and timelines.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across frontend, backend, integration and data platforms.
• Manage the full delivery lifecycle from demand intake through testing, deployment and post‑implementation support.
• Communicate progress, issues and results to business and IT leadership.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle workload pressure.
• Advanced spoken and written English; ability to present ideas in business‑friendly language.
• Experience leading strategic IT initiatives in a multinational environment.
