Purchaser Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Purchaser Specialist to join our Prague site. You will support production by ensuring the right engineering and electrical components are available on time and at the right cost.

Key responsibilities

• Supply production with materials according to engineering specifications.
• Communicate with suppliers and negotiate prices, delivery dates and quality terms.
• Search for alternative suppliers and evaluate their offers.
• Supervise material flow, manage inventories and coordinate closely with planning.
• Place purchase orders, monitor their execution and handle any complaints.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• High school or university degree, ideally in engineering or economics.
• Fluent Czech language is mandatory.
• Familiarity with technical drawings is an advantage.
• Proven negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive, independent attitude.
