QA Lead for Space Engineers

About the role

As QA Lead for Space Engineers, you will own the quality of one of the most technically ambitious sandbox games. Working side‑by‑side with developers, you will shape testing strategy, drive release decisions and embed quality throughout the development pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of six QA professionals and ensure release stability across PC and console platforms.
• Define and continuously improve the project’s testing strategy, priorities and quality standards.
• Measure product quality, assess risk, and make data‑driven go/no‑go release recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and live‑ops teams to integrate telemetry, crash analytics and automation into daily workflows.
• Identify potential risks early and drive proactive solutions to maintain high quality throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional QA leadership experience in game development, preferably on PC and/or console titles.
• Proven track record of shipping multiple games through the full development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, fluent in English.
• Based in the Czech Republic or elsewhere in the EU and able to travel to Prague when needed.
