Quality Engineer

About the role

Join PFISTERER Czech’s logistics team as a Quality Engineer, responsible for ensuring production quality in a fast‑growing energy‑technology environment. You will support the transition to renewable energy by maintaining high standards for insulating components and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production quality within the assigned area and ensure proper containment of non‑conforming parts.
• Analyse non‑conforming products (FTQ, scrap) and handle customer complaints, documenting progress in SAP and local databases.
• Prepare and oversee corrective and preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness.
• Apply quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, A3, Ishikawa, 5 Why, PFMEA, and conduct process and product audits.
• Support production control by verifying execution of Control Plans, Work Instructions, and measurement records.
• Provide training on measurement techniques and guide operators in technical drawing interpretation.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and collaborate with shift quality inspectors.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education in electrical, mechanical or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality standards for insulating components and materials.
• Experience in a similar role within automotive or manufacturing (advantage).
• Familiarity with quality methodologies (8D, root‑cause analysis) and tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP is a plus).
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
