Quality Management System Team Leader (Production/Maintenance)

About the role

Geaerospace is looking for a Quality Management System Team Leader covering production and maintenance in Prague. As Quality System Manager you will oversee and strengthen the organization's ability to comply with external standards and regulations, mainly AS 9100, working with the Production Organization (POA), Maintenance Organization (MOA) and Maintenance Training Organization (MTOA). You will follow work plans, meet short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Key responsibilities

• Keep internal policies aligned with mandatory regulations and maintain compliance across production and maintenance.
• Lead subject matter experts to check compliance with AS 9100 and regulations such as EASA PART 21G, PART 145, PART 147 and foreign authorities like SACAA.
• Monitor quality and safety performance through audits and KPIs, define effective policies and procedures, and act as a change agent for Lean operations.
• Promote a quality culture, establish internal processes for high-quality products and services, and drive corrective actions on non-conformances.
• Work with the Risk Manager on risk identification and assessment, support a strong safety culture, and share quality best practices.
• Analyze data, communicate complex messages to stakeholders and use judgment to solve moderately complex problems.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Quality and/or Production Regulation, and significant direct people management experience leading SMEs and mid-to-large teams.
• Master's degree in Technical or Aerospace fields, or a high school diploma with similar experience.
• Previous quality experience in an industrial environment.
• English (C1) and Czech/Slovak (C2).
• Work visa in line with local regulations is required; relocation assistance is not provided.

Required skills

• MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
