Quality & OPEX Manager

About the role

Dura-Line, part of Orbia, is looking for an experienced Quality & OPEX Manager to join its team in Tlumacov, Czech Republic. You will lead the plant's Quality and OPEX team, ensure compliance with international standards and champion continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. The position is on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality/OPEX team (3 direct reports), fostering accountability, collaboration and growth.
• Oversee product quality control, including claims management, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and other certifications (VDE, SKZ), representing the plant during audits and certification processes.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and testing methods.
• Work with R&D and cross-functional teams to introduce new testing methods and optimise quality processes.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives as the plant's OPEX Champion.
• Liaise with state authorities and external partners on quality matters, and report quality and operational metrics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in quality management within a manufacturing environment, including ISO-certified systems and audits.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Very good English (B2/C1) and Czech (C2); Czech is a must-have.
• Customer-oriented mindset and willingness to travel when needed.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Lean/OPEX methodologies and continuous improvement.
• ISO9001 and ISO certification processes.
