R2R Team Leader – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Team Leader to join a growing finance function of an international, modern company. The role combines hands‑on financial accounting with people leadership, driving continuous improvement across the end‑to‑end reporting cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting and R2R specialists, supporting their career growth.
• Own the full Record to Report cycle, ensuring smooth month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings (GL, accruals, provisions, fixed assets, reconciliations).
• Guarantee the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Identify and implement process‑excellence initiatives, including digitisation and automation of routine accounting activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in General Ledger, complex accounting or R2R processes, preferably within a shared services centre.
• Proven track record of team management, supervision or mentorship.
• Fluent in English and Czech (B2/C1) for daily communication across international teams.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with an empathetic leadership style.
