R&D Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The R&D Mechanical Engineer will lead the engineering execution, project management, and technical direction for injection‑molded components and related manufacturing technologies. You will support new product development, cost‑reduction initiatives, sustaining engineering, and design change projects while ensuring manufacturability and readiness for production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for molded component design, tooling development, and supplier management.
• Drive validation activities, manufacturing integration, and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and external suppliers—to meet project milestones.
• Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and make risk‑based decisions to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in injection molding, tooling, manufacturing engineering, or regulated product development.
• Proven ability to lead projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Czech.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• In‑depth knowledge of injection molding processes, component design for manufacturability, metrology, and inspection techniques.
