Record to Report (R2R) Accountant – CEE/DACH

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Accountant to join a dynamic finance team that supports multiple entities across the CEE and DACH regions. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities in accordance with group deadlines.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and conduct general ledger reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of financial records while adhering to internal policies and accounting standards.
• Participate in process‑standardisation initiatives and support reporting activities to ensure timely submission of financial information.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Record to Report, General Ledger or Financial Accounting role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Communicative level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
