Sales Director – Czech Republic & Slovakia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and expand our commercial activities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role will drive new business opportunities for Bilfinger Engineering Eastern Europe and shape the market presence in these territories.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments in the Czech and Slovak markets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key customers, stakeholders and partners.
• Lead the preparation of solution proposals, commercial offers and tenders.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, consulting, project management and marketing teams to deliver technically and commercially viable solutions.
• Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, regulations and technological developments.
• Define and implement growth strategies aligned with Bilfinger Engineering EE’s strategic goals.

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within the industrial, engineering or energy sectors.
• University degree in Engineering or Business; background in engineering, consulting or project management is highly valued.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a track record of closing complex contracts.
• Experience managing teams and engaging multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Czech (spoken and written).
