Sales Director – Public Sector (Czech & Slovakia)

About the role

Join Microsoft’s Public Sector sales organization in Czechia and Slovakia as a Sales Director. You will lead a team that helps government and public institutions modernize services through cloud, data and AI, working closely with local leadership to shape strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the go‑to‑market sales strategy for the public‑sector segment, aligning plans with customer priorities to drive new revenue and sustainable growth.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of sales professionals, setting clear expectations and building scalable motions that increase consumption.
• Champion customer value realization, embedding responsible‑AI and security principles into every engagement.
• Build and sustain an executive network internally and with partners to shape strategic account plans and influence long‑term outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture by hiring diverse talent, mentoring the team and preparing individuals for next roles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field with significant sales and leadership experience.
• Several years of experience leading sales teams in a large organization, with proven ability to drive revenue growth.
• Fluent in Czech and English, with strong executive relationship‑building skills.
