Sales Manager – Ocean Freight Forwarding

About the role

Yusen Logistics is seeking a driven Sales Manager to expand its Ocean Freight Forwarding business in the Czech Republic. You will focus on acquiring new customers for Full‑Container Load (FCL), Less‑than‑Container Load (LCL), rail freight and multimodal solutions, turning prospects into long‑term partners and delivering profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and win new customers across the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a structured business‑development plan aimed at sustainable revenue.
• Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools and best‑practice sales processes.
• Prospect through cold outreach, email, LinkedIn, referrals, networking events and industry conferences.
• Own the full sales cycle from needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, contract signing and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Procurement, Operations and other internal teams to craft competitive solutions.
• Ensure smooth handover of new accounts to Account Management and Operations.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and provide insights to management.

• Proven B2B sales and business‑development track record (minimum 5 years).
• Strong commercial acumen and results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft 365.
• Experience with digital prospecting tools such as LinkedIn.
