Sales Manager – Surgery (CEE Central) – Moravia

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the Surgery business in the Moravia region of the Czech Republic. The role is responsible for driving sales results, market share growth and profitability while coaching a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Own sales results for the assigned region, achieving targets for turnover, market share and profitability.
• Translate annual and quarterly business plans into actionable sales execution plans and monitor performance.
• Lead, coach and develop sales representatives, set clear goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, healthcare institutions and key stakeholders to increase product presence.
• Collect market and sales data, produce regular activity reports and use insights to improve productivity.
• Allocate resources, manage budgets and control promotional activities in line with business priorities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Professional Education, One MD partners and country leadership to align commercial initiatives.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory and Johnson & Johnson Credo standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, commercial leadership or medical‑device/healthcare environments.
• Previous people‑leadership or field‑coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to manage sales performance, budgets and business priorities.
• Strong customer‑centric orientation with the ability to anticipate market needs.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic, innovative and collaborative mindset; comfortable working in a matrix organization.
• Project‑management capability with organized follow‑up across departments.
• Results‑driven, proactive and analytical approach with a willingness to learn.
