SAP HCM Payroll Consultant – Czech Payroll Expertise (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to lead the implementation and support of Czech payroll processes for a global automotive supplier. The role is fully remote and requires deep knowledge of Czech statutory payroll regulations and SAP HCM configuration.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support SAP HCM Payroll for the Czech Republic, including schema, PCRs, wage types and off‑cycle payroll.
• Ensure statutory compliance with Czech tax, social security, employment law and reporting obligations.
• Configure payroll components such as wage type valuation, payroll schema, taxation, deductions, social contributions, bank transfers and legal reporting interfaces.
• Support master‑data processes (PA, OM, time‑management integration, absence quotas).
• Perform end‑to‑end payroll testing: unit tests, UAT, integration testing.
• Provide post‑production support, incident resolution and performance tuning.
• Prepare and validate payroll results, control reports and statutory files.
• Coordinate regression testing during upgrades or support‑package implementations.
• Utilise SAP HR tables (PA, PB, PY, PT) and OSS notes for legal changes.
• Work with BSI/third‑party interfaces where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education).
• Minimum 8 + years of HR process experience with at least two full‑cycle SAP Payroll CZ implementations.
• Proven experience supporting live Czech payroll cycles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor teams within a Global Delivery Model.
• Willingness to undergo background checks for finance and government sector clients.
