Senior Accountant & Controller – AI‑Empowered Finance Generalist

About the role

snuggs is scaling rapidly and needs a versatile finance professional to own end‑to‑end financial operations while leveraging AI and automation to boost efficiency and strategic impact.

Key responsibilities

• Run month‑end close, produce performance reports and variance analyses for leadership.
• Execute day‑to‑day bookkeeping, maintain general ledger integrity and oversee routine accounting tasks.
• Prepare timely financial statements for group entities and coordinate external audits.
• Monitor departmental budgets, enforce fiscal discipline and ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS.
• Implement and optimise AI tools, automated scripts and modern ERP workflows to eliminate manual work.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting or audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Proven track record managing external audits and internal control frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of local GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Hands‑on, adaptive generalist mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience or enthusiasm for integrating AI tools into accounting and controlling workflows.
