Senior Auditor, Financial and Corporate

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to join our global Audit Services Team within a leading payments company. The role involves leading audit engagements, supporting project delivery, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day tactical execution of audit and advisory engagement projects.
• Assist with the implementation and adjustment of project plans to meet budgets and timelines.
• Provide first‑level review of work‑paper documentation to ensure audit work is properly supported.
• Prepare formal audit reports and partner with project managers to assess corrective actions.
• Leverage organizational knowledge to deliver value‑added audit solutions and apply industry best practices.
• Support less experienced auditors in interpreting laws, regulations, and audit methodologies.
• Track and report project status and milestones to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Operations, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, operations or IT.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and the financial industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong English communication skills (B2‑C1) and optional professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.).
