Senior Auditor, Global Audit & Assurance

About the role

The Global Audit & Assurance (GA&A) department of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Auditor, Finance & Operations, based in Prague, Czech Republic, with travel required. The Corporate Internal Audit department provides independent, objective assurance and advisory services to help management maintain effective financial and IT internal controls in line with government and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the GA&A Continuous Control Review audit programme for J&J companies in EMEA and other regions.
• Carry out assigned audit engagements at J&J affiliates across the region and lead departmental projects.
• Act as or assist the team coordinator in preparing audits, conduct detailed testing and review findings with the audit manager, team coordinator and internal customers so concerns are addressed promptly.
• Take part in and lead interim and final meetings to discuss and finalise findings and recommendations, and supervise and develop staff during reviews.
• Join or lead ancillary project teams when not on audits, supporting departmental goals such as improved audit operations and customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or another business discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance and/or auditing.
• Sarbanes-Oxley experience preferred; ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIA, CPA, CMA, CISA or similar qualification preferred, and part-qualified or willing to study candidates considered.
• Excellent analytical, technical (accounting, Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks and take on leadership roles.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%; fluency in multiple languages preferred.
• Understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including responsible and ethical AI, and experience using prompts to improve efficiency.

• Base pay range of CZK 718,000 to CZK 1,158,050.
