Senior C# Software Engineer – Vehicle Diagnostics

About the role

Do you enjoy C#, ASP.NET Core and full‑stack web development? Eaton’s European Innovation Center in Prague is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop IntelliConnect, a remote diagnostics platform for heavy‑duty vehicle transmissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack diagnostics software for IntelliConnect.
• Participate in design and development of high‑quality, high‑performance, unit‑tested code.
• Implement robust, scalable and cyber‑secure solutions.
• Own selected system components in close cooperation with the product owner and system architect.
• Perform code reviews and promote best software practices, standards and processes.
• Collaborate with QA to investigate and fix bugs and create automated integration tests.

Required profile

• Proven ability to design, code, test and debug complex software systems.
• Strong object‑oriented and multi‑threading programming experience.

Required skills

• C# and F# programming.
• .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• ASP.NET Core, Visual Studio and VS Code.
• HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js).
• MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
• Agile development, CI/CD pipelines and Git source control.
