Senior Communications Manager

About the role

The Senior Communications Manager will act as a communications generalist, delivering high‑impact internal, external and executive communications for an international pharmaceutical client based in Prague. The role focuses on leadership visibility, reputation management and prioritisation within a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver leadership visibility moments and engagement activities for senior executives.
• Translate business priorities into clear internal communications while avoiding unnecessary volume.
• Coordinate and triage communication requests from senior stakeholders, ensuring clear trade‑offs.
• Support the country narrative across owned and earned channels, leading social media strategy and community engagement.
• Assist executive thought leadership, media engagement and coordinate with external agencies.
• Monitor emerging issues, manage reputational risks and work closely with Public Affairs.
• Ensure alignment with corporate governance standards, overseeing high‑risk communication initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a focused country communication plan and keep leadership informed of opportunities and milestones.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising senior leaders on communications matters.
• Strong ability to coordinate competing priorities and make clear decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Understanding of corporate governance requirements and reputation risk management.
