Senior Cyber Security Analyst - EMEA

About the role

Intuition Machines builds enterprise security products with AI/ML, including the hCaptcha security suite, with a team distributed worldwide. As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst you will use expertise in bot detection, web traffic analysis and deep behavioural analytics to investigate anomalous activity on the hCaptcha SaaS platform. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, identify and analyse events from many sources to spot threats and respond urgently
• Take part in incident investigations and threat hunting engagements
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and with Product, Customer Success and other internal teams
• Help collect metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations
• Audit the effectiveness of security measures against compliance norms and help implement security policies and procedures
• Fine-tune processes and update standard operating procedures

Required profile

• Hands-on SQL proficiency is a must-have
• Web and API security, WAFs, botnets and attack mitigation exposure
• Knowledge of managing and securing production web environments with tools like Kubernetes
• Threat hunting, web hacking or WAF hands-on experience
• Scripting and programming (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
• Nice to have: red-teaming, API test automation, containerisation (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC2, NIST and CIS Controls
