Senior Data Engineer R&D

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain complex data pipelines across diverse platforms.
• Enable seamless data integration between applications, data stores and organisations.
• Define and execute data quality checks, remediating complex issues.
• Develop and maintain data models aligned with business and analytical needs.
• Support information management policies, audit controls and compliance reporting.
• Automate database administration processes and monitor performance.
• Design, develop, test and maintain data‑centric applications using modern SDLC practices.
• Collaborate on code reviews, improve engineering standards and enhance BI capabilities.
• Integrate data for analytics, create visualisations and contribute to AI prototyping.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering and pipeline development at scale.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, databases and BI ecosystems.
• Experience in structured SDLC and compliance‑driven environments (GxP a plus).
• Interest in design thinking methodologies and AI/ML prototyping.
• Ability to translate complex data challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
