Senior Level Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Level Designer to shape immersive, realistic locations for our tactical FPS, Gray Zone Warfare. You will work closely with designers and artists to craft engaging quests, events, and enemy encounters that enhance the player’s journey.

Key responsibilities

• Design attractive game world locations that align with the game’s vision and lore.
• Create layout plans, greyboxes, terrain work, and asset placement for each area.
• Collaborate with game designers to develop compelling quests, events, and enemy setups.
• Implement gameplay features directly in Unreal Engine.
• Work alongside the art department and other development disciplines to ensure visual and functional cohesion.
• Balance gameplay elements to deliver a satisfying player experience.

Required profile

• Passionate lifelong gamer with a strong interest in realistic, open‑world games.
• 5+ years of experience developing PC/console titles.
• Solid fundamentals in level design for first‑person or third‑person games.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eligibility to work in the EU and willingness to relocate to Brno.

Required skills

• Unreal Engine 5.
• Greyboxing and terrain editing techniques.
