Senior Manager – Delivery & Operations Lead (A2O)

About the role

PwC Czech Republic is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Applied Intelligence & Autonomous Operations (A2O) practice. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership on flagship client engagements with end‑to‑end ownership of the FDE bench, ensuring delivery quality, staffing readiness, and operational health.

Key responsibilities

• Act as tech lead/FDE on one to two flagship accounts, driving solutions from proof‑of‑concept to production.
• Own the PoC‑to‑production transition using A2O’s auditability‑as‑architecture methodology and enforce quality gates.
• Maintain live visibility of all shipments across engagements, escalating issues early.
• Make final trade‑off decisions between rapid shipping and proper building without requiring additional engineering sign‑off.
• Allocate and mentor the shared engineering pool, handling day‑to‑day staffing for active work.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the FDE bench – sourcing, onboarding, upskilling, and retention – and forecast resourcing needs in partnership with BD/Growth and PMO.
• Track engagement margins and address staffing gaps before they become delivery risks.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading complex, regulated‑industry client projects.
• Hands‑on technical execution ability with a track record of moving solutions into production.
• Strong leadership in staffing, mentorship, and operational risk management.
• Excellent decision‑making under deadline pressure and ability to resolve delivery conflicts.
