Senior Manager International Taxation

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Director Taxation – Head of Tax, the Senior Manager International Taxation will advise on tax matters and support the implementation of tax‑effective business strategies across selected European countries. The role focuses on creating, protecting and optimizing value from a tax perspective while managing related risks and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax planning, consulting and compliance expertise for European projects, including cross‑border contracts, restructurings and operating model changes.
• Identify, plan and execute multi‑country tax projects, supporting Effective Tax Rate (ETR) management and tax risk assessment.
• Contribute to the development of financial policies, instruments and procedures, taking into account VAT, transfer pricing and legal entity considerations.
• Support calculation of tax provisions, financial statement disclosures and statutory reporting for selected countries.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting and other departments to ensure accurate data for tax returns, statutory accounts and group reporting.
• Oversee tax compliance, coordinate audit defence and manage Pillar Two reporting where applicable.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in international and European corporate tax, preferably in a senior managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of EU tax directives, local tax legislation, VAT and transfer pricing rules.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑country tax projects and influence financial policy development.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on risk assessment and tax optimisation.
