Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations

About the role

Novartis is looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations for its International Communications & Patient Advocacy function, based in Prague, Czech Republic. The role translates strategic priorities into scalable, performance-driven ways of working, with clear governance, planning discipline and data- and AI-enabled solutions. Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the operating model, with clear governance, decision rights and scalable ways of working
• Lead planning, objective-setting and prioritisation to align resources with strategic business goals
• Simplify and redesign processes to reduce complexity, duplication and inefficiencies
• Apply data, automation and artificial intelligence to improve workflows, decision-making and execution speed
• Define and embed performance frameworks, including KPIs and dashboards
• Manage budgets, headcount and resource allocation, and lead vendor strategy and partnerships
• Deliver transformation initiatives and drive adoption across teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Extensive experience in strategy and operations, transformation or management consulting within global organisations
• Proven ability to design operating models, governance structures and scalable processes
• Strong financial and resource management experience, including budget oversight and headcount planning
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives in complex, matrixed environments
• Experience improving processes with data, automation or AI

What we offer

• Expected annual base salary of 1,284,010 to 2,384,590 CZK, with a possible performance-based bonus
