Senior Product Design Engineer

About the role

Rohlik Group is building the future of e‑grocery across Central Europe. As a Senior Product Design Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end design of all customer‑facing surfaces for web, iOS and Android in five markets, and lead the design system and AI shopping assistant.

Key responsibilities

• Design and iterate the full user journey – homepage, search, product pages, basket, checkout, and order tracking – across web, iOS and Android.
• Own and evolve the design system (components, tokens, patterns) to provide precise guidance for AI‑driven coding agents.
• Define interaction patterns for Maia, the AI shopping assistant, and decide when it intervenes.
• Run user research, usability testing and field studies directly with shoppers to uncover friction.
• Drive rapid prototyping, formulate hypotheses, and evaluate A/B test results to scale successful experiments.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing consumer‑facing digital products with a strong portfolio of shipped web and native mobile work.
• Advanced expertise in Figma and multi‑platform design systems, including token‑level architecture.
• Data‑fluent mindset able to interpret A/B testing results and distinguish real impact.
• Experience integrating AI tools into design and prototyping workflows.
• Proven ability to conduct and analyse qualitative user research sessions.
