Senior Program Manager – Animal Health Commercial IT

About the role

Join MSD’s Animal Health division to lead technology programs that connect business ideas with real‑world IT outcomes. Based in the modern Prague Tech Center, you will drive Salesforce migrations, integrations and testing framework rollouts, acting as the pivotal link between business leaders, architects and international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Guide major Salesforce‑related programs from planning to delivery, ensuring they meet user needs across thousands of employees.
• Shape annual and long‑term strategy, prioritize initiatives, manage program budgets and develop business cases.
• Design and maintain governance frameworks, track dependencies and proactively mitigate risks.
• Partner with project teams, external vendors and end‑users to provide continuous support.
• Champion Agile transformation, facilitate Scrum ceremonies and foster a collaborative environment.
• Communicate progress, strategic plans and risk updates clearly to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in program, portfolio or IT initiative management within an international organization.
• Strong ability to stay calm under pressure, manage financial aspects of programs and resolve complex challenges with a human‑focused approach.
• Excellent listening and coordination skills, with a genuine interest in people and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Fluent English communication for global collaboration (approx. 40 % Europe, 40 % USA, 20 % Asia).
