Senior Sanctions Consultant - Financial Crime Technology

About the role

Our team is a regional centre of excellence providing technical advisory on financial crime across Europe. As a Senior Sanctions Consultant you will assess, optimise and implement sanctions screening systems, supporting clients in remediation and data‑driven compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, review and optimise clients’ sanctions screening systems.
• Consult clients during remediation phases to resolve regulator‑identified gaps.
• Analyse performance data, identify findings and deliver actionable compliance recommendations.
• Support multi‑year system implementation projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business or related field.
• Experience in sanctions compliance, financial crime prevention, due diligence, banking, insurance or finance.
• Proficiency in English at C1‑C2 level.
• Strong critical thinking, logical reasoning and communication skills.

Required skills

• Python (preferred).
• SQL (preferred).
