Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Full Stack)

About the role

Vertice is building the world’s first Intelligent Procurement Platform using server‑less architecture. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work on backend micro‑services in Python on AWS Lambda and, when needed, contribute to the React/TypeScript front‑end.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain serverless micro‑services using AWS Lambda and Python.
• Build and expose REST and GraphQL APIs that integrate with various AWS services.
• Work with AWS DynamoDB, Glue, StepFunctions, Athena and Timestream to store and process procurement data.
• Implement front‑end features using React and TypeScript where required.
• Create and maintain automation tests with Behave (integration) and Playwright (UI).
