Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

About the role

Jamf is looking for a senior frontend engineer to help build the shared frontend platform and design system that powers many of its products. The role sits in the PandoCats team, responsible for a micro‑frontend architecture, framework‑agnostic web components and the supporting tooling. You will work across React, Vue and Angular to create reusable, high‑quality building blocks for other product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design component and service APIs with backward compatibility and versioning for cross‑team consumption.
• Debug across framework and runtime boundaries, including Shadow DOM encapsulation and Module Federation version resolution.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate scaffolding, testing and design decisions while validating their output.
• Break down customer problems into actionable work items and deliver them end‑to‑end with high quality.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, product, and support teams.
• Apply engineering best practices, produce designs for new and existing features, and ensure accessibility compliance.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience building enterprise‑grade software and delivering platform components.
• Strong TypeScript (strict mode) and JavaScript fundamentals, including async patterns and the DOM.
• Proficiency with React as the primary framework and comfortable working with Vue 3 and Angular.
• Experience in monorepo environments (Nx, pnpm) and modern bundlers such as Vite.
• Solid testing habits using Vitest for unit/component tests and Playwright for end‑to‑end and visual regression.
• Effective communication skills and ability to explain architectural decisions to multiple teams.
