Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the Addressability component of the Zeta Marketing Platform. Based in Prague, you will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with product, engineering and executive teams to build next‑generation, real‑time, multichannel marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain real‑time infrastructure and services for data collection and processing.
• Design low‑latency, high‑throughput systems that power identity and addressability features.
• Partner with Product Managers to define data products and roadmap.
• Work with DevOps to scale, monitor and optimise cloud deployments.
• Participate in architecture reviews, own new project delivery and contribute to on‑call rotation.
• Mentor junior developers through knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Experience building reliable, low‑latency data pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Fluency in Scala and Java (2+ years).
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tooling.
• Deep understanding of real‑time data processing concepts.
