Senior Software Engineer - Service Reliability

About the role

As a member of the Service Reliability team you will drive the evolution and optimisation of a high‑performance core trading platform. The role balances maintenance of legacy systems with engineering high‑impact performance and memory improvements using C++17 and Data‑Oriented Design.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer improvements and optimisations for existing performance and memory bottlenecks.
• Build and integrate tools that enhance telemetry, logging and real‑time monitoring of the core trading platform.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and apply systems‑level design patterns.

Required profile

• Significant professional experience with C++17.
• Strong background in data‑oriented design and Linux systems‑level development for real‑time software.
• Hands‑on experience with lock‑free/wait‑free patterns, GDB core‑dump debugging and multi‑threading memory ordering.
• Proficiency using AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude).
• Passion for refactoring, algorithms and overall code improvement.
