Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer for Networking‑Heavy Infrastructure

About the role

Webshare is looking for a senior SRE or DevOps engineer to own and evolve its production infrastructure that powers a global proxy platform. You will work closely with backend engineers to ensure high availability, reliability, and developer friendliness of a networking‑heavy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Webshare's production infrastructure, maintaining 99.97% network uptime.
• Lead the migration from Docker Swarm to a self‑hosted Kubernetes cluster on bare‑metal servers.
• Maintain high availability across hundreds of servers and dozens of services.
• Drive observability together with the development team and run post‑mortems for incidents.
• Establish and enforce Infrastructure as Code practices and CI/CD pipeline reliability.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to infrastructure incidents.
• Contribute tooling that improves developer experience and reduces operational toil.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and operating highly available infrastructure at scale (hundreds of servers, dozens of services).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in self‑hosted or bare‑metal environments.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and strong communication with engineering teams.
• Experience with major infrastructure migrations is a plus.
