Senior Swift Software Engineer

About the role

Jamf is looking for a senior engineer to own the Jamf Trust macOS app and its iOS counterpart. You will work on Apple Network Extension frameworks, building content‑filter and packet‑tunnel extensions that power the company’s Security Cloud strategy. The role is hybrid, based in Brno, and requires deep Swift expertise and a passion for high‑quality, well‑tested code.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end projects as an epic owner, from design through delivery.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, diagnosing production incidents and turning firefights into permanent fixes.
• Review and merge pull requests, maintaining a healthy review throughput and raising the quality bar.
• Build and maintain shared Swift packages, test/release infrastructure, and observability tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct pair programming, and grow expertise across macOS and iOS platforms.

Required profile

• Professional Swift experience on Apple platforms with production‑shipped applications.
• Strong testing discipline and ability to design protocol‑based, testable code.
• Demonstrated senior‑level contribution through code reviews, mentoring, and tooling improvements.

Required skills

• Swift (including concurrency: async/await, actors, Sendable).
• Swift Package Manager and modular package design.
• Apple NetworkExtension framework (packet tunnel, content filter).
• Systems debugging with crash report analysis, symbolication, and Instruments.
• CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane, code signing, and App Store/Developer ID distribution.
