Service Desk Agent L1 with German

About the role

D-ploy is an IT and engineering solutions company operating across the EMEA region, including Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, the UK and the USA. It is looking for a Service Desk Agent L1 based in Prague who speaks fluent German and English; other languages are an advantage. The role involves providing first-line technical support to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance for computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other tech tools and products
• Meticulously document end-user issues in the ITSM tool
• Manage ticket backlogs and adhere to processes and knowledge documents
• Take part in continuous service improvement, such as creating knowledge scripts and updating training documents
• Work closely with onsite IT technicians

Required profile

• Fluent German and English; other languages are an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and follow directions and best practices
• Planning and organising skills, team player with a supportive personality
• Candidates must declare a criminal record extract not older than three months

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office applications knowledge is a plus
