Service Technician

About the role

Join Grundfos Czechia as a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and optimise pump systems in both field and workshop environments, ensuring uninterrupted customer operations.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and reassemble pumps, pump systems and accessories on site and in the workshop.
• Conduct hydraulic tests, energy checks and risk assessments before each job.
• Prepare quotes for out‑of‑warranty repairs and forward leads to the sales team.
• Write detailed service and FAS reports and support leaders with warranty issue solutions.
• Maintain and operate workshop machinery such as drill presses, lathes and mills.

Required profile

• Technical education or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, automation or mechatronics.
• 5+ years of service experience with pumps, pump systems, motors, controls or automation.
• Fluency in Czech and working knowledge of English.
• Valid Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Pump systems and hydraulic testing.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Automation and control knowledge.
• Operation of workshop machinery (drill press, lathe, mill).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
