About the role

Join KONE as an Escalator Service Technician in Prague. You will ensure safe and reliable vertical transport by performing inspections, maintenance, and diagnostics on escalators.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct professional inspections and regular maintenance of escalators.
• Diagnose the condition of equipment and identify faults.
• Work with modern technologies and diagnostic tools.
• Perform official escalator tests and certifications.
• Communicate with equipment operators and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in electrical engineering or as a lifting‑equipment mechanic.
• Valid electrical work certification according to decree 50/1978 (NV 194/2022).
• Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with escalator maintenance and diagnostics.
• Ability to operate modern technical equipment.
