Sourcing Lead (German) – Hybrid, Brno

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Lead fluent in German to manage low‑value, tail‑spend procurement for our Brno office. The role combines tactical buying, supplier consolidation and team coaching within a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tactical sourcing and buying for low‑value spend across GNFR categories.
• Validate supplier responses and ensure alignment with terms and contractual baselines.
• Negotiate quickly with suppliers while maintaining compliance standards.
• Identify repeat purchases suitable for cataloguing or contracting.
• Drive supplier consolidation to reduce tail‑spend fragmentation.
• Escalate risk areas such as single‑source dependence or non‑compliant requests.
• Train junior analysts in tactical sourcing practices.
• Govern spot‑buy pipeline reporting, including volumes, savings and compliance.
• Conduct supplier performance checks on responsiveness, pricing stability and delivery adherence.
• Support proactive spend reviews to highlight leakage and contractable spend.

Required profile

• Approximately 4 years of experience in sourcing or tail‑spend procurement.
• Fluent in English and German (minimum C1 level) for client communication.
• Higher education degree.
• Strong operational sourcing ability for tactical, urgent and mid‑complexity needs.
• Ability to interpret category strategies and align buying decisions.
• Expertise in supplier comparison, total‑cost‑of‑ownership thinking and negotiation frameworks.
• Strong documentation and compliance rigor.
• Experience managing a small buyer team and handling stakeholder expectations.
