SRE/DevOps Engineer – Enterprise Storage Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise storage solutions for a fast‑growing technology team in Prague. The role combines deep storage expertise with automation, cloud, and infrastructure engineering to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS, all‑flash arrays, object storage).
• Integrate storage with VMware, OpenStack and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot performance, latency and capacity issues.
• Develop automation tools using Python and shell scripting.
• Build REST API integrations for infrastructure workflows.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or similar IaC tools.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Nagios).
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and long‑term remediation.
• Maintain dashboards, alerts and runbooks for day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, storage engineering, SRE or DevOps.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Python development.
• Proven experience with enterprise storage, SAN/NAS, and virtualization platforms.
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
