Systems Engineer I – Flight Controls

About the role

Join the Honeywell Flight Controls team to develop modern Flight‑by‑Wire (FBW) and Compact Flight‑by‑Wire (CFBW) systems for commercial aircraft and emerging Urban Air Mobility platforms. You will work in an agile, global environment shaping the future of aerospace.

Key responsibilities

• Define system and software requirements for ATR and CFBW programs, focusing on software architecture and platform.
• Design, execute, and analyse verification and validation tests to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with domestic and international engineering teams, following program standards and licensing.
• Coordinate with Control Systems and software teams to deliver project tasks on time and with high quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aero, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Automation.
• Strong background in systems engineering, including requirements definition, development, testing and verification.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and self‑starter abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• EU or US citizenship due to export restrictions.
