Trainee Installation Specialist - CribMaster EMEA

About the role

The CribMaster EMEA team is looking for a Trainee Installation Specialist based in Prague, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow or Budapest. You will travel to customer sites to help install and set up CribMaster intelligent storage and tool management devices, building technical skills through training and real-world experience. About 2-3 weeks per month are spent on site, and travel is frequent across the UK, EMEA and beyond as capability grows.

Key responsibilities

• Support the installation of CribMaster hardware, including intelligent storage cabinets, vending machines and tool tracking units, under supervision.
• Help gather pre-project requirements by understanding customer needs, site conditions, tools, data, processes and solution expectations.
• Learn the fundamentals of RFID, hardware setup and safe working practices, and support technical activities when trained and authorised.
• Assist with maintenance, checks, troubleshooting and diagnosis, escalating issues when extra support is needed.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Technical Support Team and help prepare customer data for accurate database imports.
• Support simple end-user guidance, with more experienced colleagues leading customer training and handover.
• Work with the Installation Team Lead, Project Coordinator and Implementation Team, and maintain accurate records, status updates and time logs.

Required profile

• Interest in practical, hands-on work and a willingness to develop mechanical aptitude through training.
• Strong interest in technology, hardware, software, tools and systems, built up through structured learning and practice.
• Ability to follow instructions, checklists, safety guidance and training materials carefully and consistently.
• Clear written and spoken English, with the confidence to ask questions and seek support.
• Willingness and ability to travel very frequently, often weekly, and to support customers at short notice.
