Voice Recording Specialist (Czech) – Project Morava

About the role

Appen is looking for independent contractors in the Czech Republic to take part in Project Morava, which collects high-quality speech data from native speakers to help build more natural and intelligent voice AI systems. Participants read and record short, scripted prompts in Czech, which are used to train and evaluate speech recognition models.

Key responsibilities

• Record 150 short, scripted voice prompts in Czech using the Appen Mobile app on your smartphone
• Each prompt is a brief, natural spoken command; simply read it clearly and naturally
• Follow the recording guidelines and complete the session on your own schedule

Required profile

• Native speaker of Czech
• Currently residing in the Czech Republic
• 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app

What we offer

• The whole task takes about 2 hours, including reviewing the guidelines
• Work on your own schedule, from anywhere in the Czech Republic
• Recording done entirely on your smartphone
• Payment after completing a full session of 150 prompts; payment is adjusted proportionally if fewer prompts are assigned

The project is first-come, first-served and runs with demographic quotas, so some applicants may not receive a task. Selected candidates become members of the CrowdGen Community and receive an account setup email.
