Warehouse Manager

About the role

Wabtec manufactures air conditioning units for rail vehicles at its factory in Nýřany (north of Plzeň) and is looking for a warehouse manager. The company produces more than 4,500 units per year for customers such as Siemens, Hyundai Rotem, Alstom, Škoda and Stadler.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the warehouse team to reach targets and KPIs
• Plan and organise daily warehouse operations, receiving, storage and dispatch
• Optimise warehouse processes and implement improvement proposals
• Supervise compliance with safety rules and cooperate with production, logistics and purchasing
• Carry out regular stocktakes and train new employees

Required profile

• Experience working in a warehouse and managing a WMS
• Team leadership experience and motivation skills
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Carefulness and responsibility

Required skills

• Active knowledge of Czech (Aj)
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory management systems
• PC literacy
