Accounting Generalist

About the role

The Accounting Generalist supports the Finance team at Four Seasons Hotel Prague by ensuring accurate processing of accounts payable, performing reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting. This position helps maintain strong financial controls and compliance with Four Seasons standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, verify authorizations, and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain organized vendor files, perform reconciliations, and resolve supplier discrepancies.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries in line with accounting standards.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and generate required financial reports.
• Verify expense reports and petty‑cash reimbursements according to policy.
• Maintain vendor records, support audits, archive documentation, and update payment systems.

Required profile

• High school or college education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting systems.
