Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support transactional accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial processing.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities
• Prepare and post manual journal entries with proper supporting documentation
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Execute intercompany reconciliation and balance checking
• Manage general ledger postings and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare supporting files and documentation for reporting purposes
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and finance departments
• Support finance projects and additional reporting requirements as needed
• Handle ad‑hoc accounting and administrative tasks

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting or accounting clerk role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Local GAAP required, US GAAP a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment
• Strong understanding of financial transactions and their impact
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Czech and English, able to work with international teams
