AWS DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, resilient AWS platforms with an automation‑first mindset.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring secure, reliable, and reusable Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and operate containerised applications on Amazon EKS (Kubernetes), driving high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines while embedding DevSecOps practices such as automated security scanning, IAM governance, and secrets management.
• Enhance platform reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and cloud cost management.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, SQS/SNS).
• Proven expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, including modular architectures and CI/CD integration.
• Practical experience operating Kubernetes (EKS) environments, including Helm, ingress controllers, node groups, RBAC and scaling strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD automation using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline, with blue‑green and canary release techniques.
• Strong scripting and Linux administration skills in Python, Go or Bash on Amazon Linux, Ubuntu or RHEL.
