B2B Demand Planner

About the role

Vilgain is a fast‑growing food and lifestyle brand looking for a B2B Demand Planner to turn commercial plans into reliable forecasts for B2B, marketplace and export channels. You will work closely with commercial teams and supply‑chain colleagues to ensure demand is accurately captured and acted upon.

Key responsibilities

• Own the demand forecast for B2B, marketplace and export channels.
• Collect, consolidate and input commercial inputs into the forecasting system.
• Analyse forecasts against historical sales, trends, open orders and planned activities.
• Challenge unusual demand changes and resolve inconsistencies with B2B stakeholders.
• Act as the primary link between B2B/Expansion and Supply Chain, translating commercial plans into actionable demand.
• Coordinate demand for new listings, customers, markets, promotions and one‑off B2B orders.
• Track forecast accuracy, analyse deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Communicate demand outlook, risks and changes to S&OP meetings and relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of forecasting processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with a genuine interest in data.
• Proficiency with large datasets (1000+ SKUs) and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Experience collaborating with BI or tech teams on forecasting tools.

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Use of AI tools for data analysis and automation.
• BI/tech tools for forecasting and planning.
