Backend Engineer – Remote (Czech Republic)

About the role

Myriad AI is building an AI‑powered platform that automates regulatory compliance for US companies. We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help design, develop, and scale the core services that power this platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services that handle large‑scale compliance data.
• Collaborate with product, data, and frontend teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of the platform.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical road‑maps.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience building scalable backend systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, VC‑backed startup environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across distributed teams in Prague and San Francisco.
• Passion for solving complex problems in fintech and compliance.
