Business Intelligence Analyst I

About the role

Transcarent is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst I to transform data into actionable insights that support better business decisions. You will collaborate with multiple teams to understand reporting needs, develop data solutions, and create interactive dashboards that simplify complex information.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and ad‑hoc business requests.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful analytics solutions.
• Present data insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Troubleshoot reporting and data issues, identify root causes, and develop scalable fixes.
• Create reusable reporting components such as calculations, metrics, and KPIs.
• Work with multiple data sources, data warehouses, and cloud‑based platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define scope, manage project priorities, and communicate progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and navigate ambiguity.

Required skills

• Qlik (QlikView, Qlik Sense) or Tableau for data visualization.
• SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Excel and common productivity tools.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
• Nice‑to‑have: AWS Redshift, Databricks, SQL Server, Python for data analysis or automation.
