Collection Specialist

About the role

The Collection Specialist coordinates BPO and retained organization for credit management, collection and dispute management processes. The role resolves complex collection cases, performs dispute root‑cause analysis and implements corrective actions, and ensures effective handling of invoice disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate BPO and retained organization for credit management, collection, and dispute management processes.
• Resolve and support complex collection cases.
• Perform dispute root‑cause analysis and drive end‑to‑end corrective actions.
• Conduct first collection contacts physically when required by local regulations.
• Route dispute management for agreed retained accounts.
• Record invoice disputes in the collection and dispute management solution.
• Initiate and follow the dispute management workflow, dispatching disputes to relevant business owners.
• Apply collection strategy for agreed retained accounts.
• Conduct structured collection calls to customers.
• Request and record promises to pay from customers.
• Coordinate with CS&A and inbound teams to ensure queries and disputes are handled and resolved.
